What do you do on a really hot summer's day (apparently the hottest days in the past two years)? Well when you don't have a pool you have to improvise....
The nice thing about hot weather - the clothes dry on the line in about 10 minutes...okay maybe it's that you get to eat lots of popsicle. Either way I am so glad this house has a ducted air conditioning system. We would be dying without it!

That's what we usually do when we go to Queensland and visit my mum, get out the big containers, anything that will hold water is cooling.
LOL! That's awesome Stacy!!!! hahahaha
Let me just say that I am sitting here wrapped in a blanket as I type because I am FREEZING in Utah!
Very creative. We had an inflatable pool last summer but it was cheap and didn't last long. So I filled an inflatable rubber raft with water the rest of the summer. My kids loved it!
That is so cute! Oh what I would give right now for a nice hot day! lol Its soooo cold here! I can't wait for spring!
Its the first month of the year and you are swimming outside in Australia. LOL. You do this as we barely make it above freezing, if we're lucky.
We used to use storage containers as bathtubs when we went camping before we bought a trailer with a shower. My kiddo's still ask for storage bin baths because they are so fun.
Very creative. Love it.
Hey! You've won an award over on my blog. Have fun!
