3:30 am WAKE UP CALL ANYONE?

On Tuesday morning Kevin's alarm went off at 3:30 am so that we could get up and get ready to go to the airport. However, he turned it off and went right back to sleep. Luckily for us I had turned on my alarm the night before for 3:45 am or we would have slept through our flight. Good thing I am so organized and all the bags were packed and by the front door, and clothes laid out for us to wear. After rushing around the house a bit we headed over to pick up a friend who was taking us to the airport.

We thought the kids would fall asleep during the 45 minute car ride to the airport - but they were too excited to see their friends Savannah and Collin. Even Rylee didn't go back to sleep until about 45 minutes into the flight. We arrived at the airport and got checked in and then found some breakfast and waited for our flight. The flight was uneventful. The best part was when we flew up through the overcast sky and were above a floor of clouds with the sun shining bright.

After getting our luggage we found the Jones' and then we headed to Kangaroo Island. We spent four days and three nights there and are now at their house in Adelaide. I will update the blog later with some picture of our adventures. We saw so many cool things - seals, a wild koala in a tree, penguins, and rock formations to name a few. We had a blast, but I didn't see a live kangaroo on Kangaroo Island - what's up with that. We did see lots of wallaby roadkill however.
