HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY...EARLY!

For those of you who know me well know that I love organization. I hate clutter and I think everything should have a home and should be put back where it belongs. I haven't quite ingrained that into my kids, or my husband's, brains yet - but I am working on it. So for Mother's Day this year Kev and the kids bought me shelves. I know funny gift, but I love it! We finally made it to IKEA today to get it and put it together this evening. The funny thing is that the shelves are for the play room and not for any of my stuff - but it will create order in an unorganized place so that is a big deal to me.

SO HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY EARLY FOR ME!!!

Before getting it all organized and set upright the kids had a little fun in the holes.

Mother's Day is May 11 - so the present really is early (but that's okay). Is that the same time as in the States?

I'm the same - I understand your compulsive need for order. If I can't find a proper place for something I throw it out!

We got exactly same shelves for the boys' room from Ikea last week! I too get great deal of satisfaction having a place for everything. And get annoyed when Teemu and the boys don't put things back where they belong. But yeah, we have the same shelf, just different colour, but we got the red boxes too and Erno especially loved the red boxes.
